EBR REC CHEER
Building Confidence. Creating Community.
Founded in 2026
The EBR Rec Cheer Program was founded in 2026 with a simple but powerful mission: to get children active, connected, and involved in their community while giving them an opportunity to experience the excitement of cheerleading and performing.
Our program was created to provide children throughout East Baton Rouge Parish with a positive, encouraging environment where they can learn the fundamentals of cheerleading, build confidence, develop teamwork skills, and create lasting memories.
OUR MISSION
The mission of EBR Rec Cheer is to provide children with an opportunity to be active in their community, develop confidence and life skills, and experience the joy of performing.
We believe every child deserves an opportunity to participate, belong, and shine. Through cheerleading, athletes learn more than cheers and routines. They learn discipline, teamwork, commitment, sportsmanship, responsibility, and confidence—skills that can positively impact them both on and off the performance floor.

In The Spotlight
The Little Dippers program is the perfect introduction to cheerleading for young athletes. We create a positive and encouraging environment where children can grow in confidence, learn basic cheer fundamentals, and build social skills. Through fun and engaging instruction, athletes begin developing coordination, strength, and teamwork—setting the foundation for future success in cheer.
Our Tiny Twinklers program is the perfect first step for young children entering cheer. In a safe and encouraging setting, athletes learn basic movements, listening skills, and teamwork through fun, age-appropriate activities. This program helps build confidence, social interaction, and a love for cheer from the very beginning.
